About
I’m a passionate special education teacher who deeply values the connections I have with my family, the beauty of nature, and the guidance of my faith in God. These aspects of my life inspire my approach to teaching, where I strive to create an inclusive and nurturing environment for my students. Outside the classroom, I express my love for life through poetry, finding peace and inspiration in the natural world around me. My belief in the power of growth, both personally and academically, drives me to support my students in overcoming challenges and reaching their full potential. Every day is an opportunity to learn, grow, and inspire, and I am grateful to be on this journey with my students, family, and faith.
This platform serves to support students with disabilities in a way that combines reason and faith. It offers research-based resources that clarify much of the muddled thinking—academic and otherwise—that has for too long burdened our nation's schools. Those resources range from simple, straightforward classroom strategies to legally sound explanations of students' rights, and they deliver clear, reliable guidance. Furthermore, this site provides a prototypical resource for a kind of community that schools of all sorts should establish.
Why this matters
Navigating special education can be complex. As a special education teacher, I created this site to support both parents and educators by providing practical tools, clear legal guidance, and inspiring faith-based resources.
